| ♖ Her given name was Philippa Riley. She was born in 1925 in Olympia, Washington, and signed up to train as a nurse during the height of the United States' involvement in World War II. She found her way to Italy, where she was killed by an accidental firearm discharge — or so her official records say. Unofficially, she is one of the oldest Cecilians currently active. Granted her gift at her deathbed, Riley's gift manifested as reverse aging. She is able to reverse the effects of aging in herself and in other people, something she refers to as buying time. Unable to age past a certain point, Riley takes on the ravages of time from other people to keep from aging backwards. Of a calm and gentle temperament, Riley is considered a pillar in the organization, and whose gift is considered invaluable to its senior agents. Her soft demeanor belies a cruelty, however; she's very fond of children, and has been known to regress agents she does not like to helpless states — aging them back to before they've been granted their gifts. No one knows what happens to the gifts she has taken away. Everyone hopes she hasn't kept them all. | |
